Front Sight is an organization with headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada that aims to educate people in firearms usage. People who want to take a course but do not know any members or previous students can use an upstanding member of society as their reference. Lifetime members of the institute must renew their background check every calendar year before they take new courses.
The company also offered free machine gun classes at its new Nevada facility for a brief time from 1998 to 2002. This was done in order to showcase the new facility and headquarters. Every year, a reunion is held on July 4 in celebration of Independence Day, where members are invited to spend a day of activities such as shooting weapons, fireworks and catered food.
Many students bring their own firearms to the classes, however, some choose to rent them from the Pro Shop at the facility while doing the courses. Once you have taken courses, you can become a member there. Nearly ten percent of people who attend a course there become lifetime members. The organization offers lifetime memberships to First Family people with various degrees of entitlement.
