They are attracted to these sounds because they are thinking that a flock mate is calling out for them making them call back as a response.

Wearing full camouflage during hunting is important as turkeys have excellent visions and can spot things easily. Set up is important for hunting them in order to distract them and having them stay in one place. Turkeys just leave right away whenever they sense danger so using decoys could help you become unnoticeable to them.
