With the successful weapon selection hunters should embark on practicing. Take position behind a bench and shoot at stationary targets placed at a distance. Twenty five yards is recommended as a starting distance. The distance should be increased over time. The hunter should move the target to a hundred yards as they become familiar with the gun. This distance is good for practicing since it is more realistic.

Among the last steps to becoming a hunter is getting approval from relevant authorities. This should be done after attending a safety course meant for hunters. The course includes a written exam and a four hour certification course. A certificate is issued at the end upon successful completion of the course. Once a certificate has been issued the hunter is free to purchase their permits for their hunt.
