Drinking Games For Two To Play At College

By Dave Bernold

Drinking is often tedious, if the only things you discuss with your buddies is politics, studying or work. Drinking games for two people are an effective method to spice up a weekend, afternoon or evening at the pub. Here's a few enjoyable drinking card games for two, which will amuse both you and your drinking partner, while you consume beer at your local pub:

Truth or Dare

This traditional drinking game has existed for a long time. You and your drinking partner can choose to tell the 'Truth', when asked a personal question, or complete a 'Dare' instead. If you opt for 'truth', you have to answer the question honestly. If you do not wish to respond to a question, you have to consume a drink quickly. Or, you could complete another 'Dare', which involves doing something outrageous.

This game is particularly suitable, if your drinking partner is someone you like or are good friends with.

Few drinking card games for two can beat Circle of Death. In this game, cards are placed face-down in circles that reside inside each other. Things start with the outermost circle, and players choose a card. If they can't guess the nature of the card, then they drink sips equal to the number on it. Otherwise, a correct guess means the other player must do so.

Truth or Dare - One of the Ultimate Drinking Games for Two

It begins with one player predicting the name of a card, in the outer circle, then revealing it. If your guess is wrong, you have to consume a number of drinks equal to the card's numerical value. In contrast, if your guess is right, your friend has to consume a number of drinks equal to the card's numerical value. Once the initial circle is cleared, the number of drinks doubles, triples and quadruples with every new circle.

If you're feeling adventurous, then grab a couple pitchers of beer and a timer. Fill a shot glass with beer for yourself and your friend. Then each person is tasked with downing 60 shots of beer within an hour, or one shot per minute. For this game, you might consider doing half-shots to avoid getting too inebriated.

When playing this game, the first person makes a few statements describing herself/himself. One statement is incorrect, whereas two statements are correct. The second person has one opportunity to guess the incorrect statement. Should the second person guess correctly, the first person has to consume a drink (and vice versa). Following a round of playing, the players swap roles.

This game is an excellent icebreaker, particularly if you wish to get to know a new friend better.

Summary

Tell your friend to draw a card from a deck without showing you. If you guess the suit correctly, then you're fine. Then again, a wrong answer means that you drink. You can make an entirely new rule for the game if you guess three cards in a row correctly. In this game, things can get pretty interesting as rules are added. Dozens of fun drinking games for two are available to play right now. Still, the six mentioned here are probably the most fun for the average pair of friends. Don't hesitate to try them out next time you're at the bar with a pal!
