Learning How To Win Blackjack

By Stella Gay

There is a method when wanting to play this game and some pointers that could be overlooked which should be taken into account. In learning How to win Blackjack is pretty much like learning any skilled card game. This starts way before even sitting down at a Blackjack table in a casino or playing it online with the many platforms on offer.

Being in tip top shape mentally and physically is often overlooked and this does make a difference between winning and losing. Just like any other skill it is good to prepare oneself beforehand in having a good meal so as not to have to walk away from the table because of hunger pangs. Being well rested is also a good idea as this increases concentration and allows for alertness at the table.

So being well rested is important as well as having a good meal before even the first hand is played. The goal is to be able to sit down for a length of time without having to leave the table in so avoiding visits to the bathroom whilst playing. Usually, two hours is a good time frame to be at the table.

Being well rested and having had a meal to eat before commencing leaves the player feeling relaxed and alert. Should fatigue set in this is a good time to exit the game and to refresh oneself by going to the bathroom and perhaps having a cup of coffee whilst re energizing. It is important to monitor the table at first to see how well the dealer is doing against other players.

Leaving the casino is not only about having lost but ensures that more losses than necessary is not incurred and that winnings are kept and not given back to the dealer. Therefore a realistic exit point should be determined before sitting down to play. There is also a method when buying chips and it is said that this should be three times the minimum bet allowed.

Sticking to well known gambling rules is important when playing Blackjack as increasing the probability of winning is what is needed to achieve. For instance, trying to pull a card when sitting with seventeen in your hand is wild play when the bank is sitting with a seven. It is best practice to allow the bank to draw a probable ten and thus taking even money which means no loss incurred which allows one not to have to put down extra money when the subsequent hand is played.

Every table that is embarked at playing at has a feeling about it. Feelings can work but relying on them creates inconsistencies when playing. This is why there must exist a methodology when betting. This is based on the five hand rule which relies on the probability of winning five hands in a row.

It is definite no no to play with money that can't be afforded to play with. This puts the player under added pressure. It can easily lead the player to making silly mistakes in trying to win back losses and hopefully not money that was intended to pay off a loan or other utility items.
