God Created Us In His Image

By Lynn Beard

God created us in his image is what Christians believe in all their life while on earth. This is a supreme being who is in control of all their properties and possessions which they own or are visible or invisible. This being has the power to cause happiness or sorrow in people especially if one does a wrong thing they believe that they can be punished.

This power can be used to make certain things happen for instance in case of drought the people pray for the rains and food and if they are consistent and have faith they receive it. That is their only solution when they get problems that they can not solve and it is their hope all times. They join hands in times of difficulty and believe that their unity can move mountains or rather they can be answered their prayers.

The aim of this was to ensure that no individual looked upon the other because of superiority. Some people may feel greater than the rest because of the achievements they have or the education qualifications. This makes them more superior in the society and tries to manipulate the unlucky ones by taking advantage of their status since they believe they are not in the same line of line.

They feel that they control the world and due to their authority and power hence suffering from the superiority complex. They do not understand that all they own is given to them and anytime it could be taken away and remain with nothing. The Bible explains to them that all they have belongs to one Supreme Being who is supposed to be respected.

He used other signs such as speaking to people in dreams and also to prophets like Moses who was given the commandments to give to the people. This clearly showed that he was human it is only that no one could see him. He was heard in echo and loud voices as well as the burning bush and lightening.

With this they were able to achieve the objective that was intended by their maker to reach out to the people and remain their religious practice. The writers were the wise ones who existed in that times and also had a spiritual life that included seeing the future. They prayed for the people.

With reading this books that include the Bible, up to today, the writings remain the same it is only that it is translated into different languages. It explained how human beings came into the earth and this defines the whole process. There is no one who knows how this supernatural being looked like but they read that all people resembled Him in all aspects.

God created us in his image is the belief of all the people because they have no other supernatural creator that has the power to control the earth. When people are together especially those from different regions, they have differences especially physically and it becomes difficult to explain how he looks like. Therefore it is clear that it is possible that the similarity does nit come from the outward appearance but the inner being.
