Youth Sports in The City of Atlanta

The capital city of Atlanta is known for its many professional and school sporting teams. For those folks living in the town who do not have the athleticism or time to follow certain sports in a full time capacity, there are plenty of greenhorn sports in Atlanta that give you an opportunity to get fitter, stronger and faster all while making new pals and blowing off some steam. From Atlanta youth baseball to semi pro football teams in Atlanta, there's actually something for everybody.

MJCCA

The Marcus JCC Atlanta organization is a premier Atlanta youth baseball league. From T-ball to baseball, it offers kids a safe and amiable environment to increase their physical fitness, learn discipline and naturally have fun. Controlled by an ex aid coast at UGA, you can rest assured that each player is getting customized and suggestive help from dedicated and experienced coaches. Kids as young as 3 all the way up to 6th grade can join in the fun, with practices and games regularly during the week and weekends.

GO Kickball

While kickball might suggest adolescence gymnasium classes, this adult league reminds player how much fun this sport can truly be. Teams are organised by ability level and force. Some groups just want to get out there and have fun, while others are dedicated and fit individuals who truly wish to win. Either way, it's a fun experience that happens on weeknights, with special tournaments on weekends. After the game, join your squad and any other interested takers for discounted pizzas and drinks at some of the close by multinationals.

Atlanta Chiefs

Thanks to the a new semi pro football league in the Southern States, there are several new teams turning up. The Atlanta Chiefs are only one of these new semi pro soccer teams in Atlanta, and are generating more and more interest in the town. Unlike pro groups, many players hold down roles or are at school, all while committing to the team. The season runs across the summer, with practices beginning in the spring. The decline is an off season for the team.

Team in Training

Not everyone feels that they have the coordination or dexterity to excel in team sports. For those people, joining Team in Training could be a perfect way to keep fit and pull in money for charity. The Atlanta branch of Team in Training helps train newbies to run a half marathon or a marathon. In exchange for frequent group runs, a training schedule and experienced coaches, you pull in money for cancer awareness. There is a great social aspect to the group too , with several runs ending in coffees or drinks while you debate the following step of your coaching.
