They engage in several activities that enable the organization to reach its desired goals. They are able to do this due to the skills and experience they are required to have. A company would always hire somebody with a long experience in business administration and with the necessary skills so as to be effective in directing and overseeing the work of others.

With managers there is also a unit of direction hence teamwork with cooperating employees everything could be achieved.

Management also does controlling of the activities in the organization. This actually refers to monitoring those activities. Observations are made to identify those areas prone to errors and necessary control measures are put to prevent those errors. At times forecasting is done by doing trend analysis so as to see the areas where the business may get problems in the future and they can be avoided early enough.

Planning should the start of everything. The manager has to formulate goals and courses of action are formed to reach them. This is important as all workers do their working knowing they are working to achieve something. Therefore a plan gives the organization a target to reach hence more determination from the employees who put more effort.

Management is therefore an important tool towards achieving goals. 5th wheel tripod managers would make the firm to make more profits. Wastage of resources is also avoided by the control measures put in place. However some actions might bring problems for example delegation where the juniors authorized to work on behalf of their seniors do not work to meet the required standards or abusing the authority vested in them.
